A private tour is a tailor-made tour that is exclusively planned based on your needs or the requirements of groups with special interests (ex. adventure, religious, active, corporate), with no other passengers apart from your party.
If you are a family or group of 4-12 people, it is usually cheaper to use our services than go on the guided bus tour, plus it will be more entertaining, since your tour will be flexible and adaptable to your interests and preferences.
So contact us now and together we will organize an excursion adapted exclusively to your needs, ! a unique tour just for you!
So what does this mean?
To put it simple: You can stop wherever you desire, take photos of your favorite locations, swim at a secluded beach on the way, make a stopover at local stores, spend a little more time at the restaurant enjoying you meal at your pace,… and much more.
The excursions listed in this website are only a few suggestions of the many available trips that can be organized in Greece. Different tours can be combined, based on the interests of each client. Some of them can be accomplished in half-day programs, others in full-day programs, while others are recommended for 2 or more days. Of course you could choose to visit all these sites (according to your schedule and budget), with overnight stays at beautiful traditional Greek Villages and Hotels.

You can’t compare our tour to the tours offered by the cruise line simply because we give you the most attention and cater to your very specific needs. We will meet you at your choice of place to embark on a tour of our cities and show you the main attractions and hidden gems known only to us.

Is transportation included in the walking tours? Will my guide have transportation when meeting at the hotel?
For this type of tours transportation is not included in the initial price of the tour. That is exactly the reason that we ask our group tours to meet their guide on-site. Directions to the meeting point will be included in your confirmation voucher following your booking. What is the difference between a tour guide and a driver – guide?
For those of you who are booking private tours for the first time, perhaps a little clarification would help. A tour driver and a tour guide are not the same. It is to your advantage when booking a private tour to be sure that you understand the difference and know in advance what you are paying for. A tour guide has a license, usually issued by the state / country. He or she has attended school to learn all about the sites you will see. A guide is permitted to go into the historical sites with you and tell you about the history. A tour driver is not licensed, has not attended “guide” school, and is not permitted to do guiding inside the archaeological or historical sites. Quiet many drivers are having a very good knowledge of history but they’re not allowed to tell you the facts inside the site you are visiting.
How do we meet with you or your driver? Airport
You’ll be met at the airport upon arrival of aircraft as you specified. After collecting your luggage and clearing customs, you’ll be routed to the public lounge (Arrival Area) where throngs of people wait for passengers to come out. Many people will be holding signs and also your driver will be there posting your name. That’s how you identify your driver. Make sure to have my phone number with you, you never know what can happen in a crowded and chaotic airport! Normally it takes about 30-40 minutes from the time when the plane lands until you actually get to the public lounge. If you see that it will take longer, for example if your luggage is lost or simply takes longer time to come out, please send us a text message or call us. If you miss your flight or you experience a long delay, please contact us at the numbers provided. If we do not hear from you, you may be charged for the time we have to wait for you at the airport. If you miss your flight or your flight was cancelled and we do not hear from you, you will be charged for the full amount of your transfer.
There are 2 different terminals where the cruise ships dock (A main gate and B gate). When cruise ships arrive at B, the port authorities usually provide a shuttle bus to take you to A. Do not use the bus (unless terminal B is closed for some reason). Please exit at the gate where the cruise ship docks. In both cases we will meet you outside the cruise terminal (once you walk through it) holding a sign with your name on.
It surely won’t be a problem to meet our clients at their hotel. This will be easier if they’re staying in a small hotel rather than a big one. The concierges of the small hotels know each and every one of their guests so when I or a stuff member of Athens on the flip side go in and ask for our clients they have no problem addressing us to them. That doesn’t always work when staying in a big hotel. In this case it’s a lot easier for the clients to spot us than it is for us to spot them. The big hotel usually have some space outside the door where vehicles can park so when we get to the hotel first I go to the concierge and ask for my clients and he calls them in.
Arriving at the station, just as you come down from the train, you’ll see a person with a sign with your name right on the platform where the train pulls in.
How much should we tip?
Tips in Greece are not mandatory but it’s customary to give them in proportion to the quality of the service received.
Can I switch the date of my private tour?
For private tours, because as soon as you confirm your tour with us we’ll mobilize a number of people such us your driver and probably a guide as far in advance as possible, We will try to accommodate any changes you request, but because of limitations in guides and drivers, we cannot guarantee your request will be granted.
